What makes this area so great is that it’s a destination in itself. For couples wanting an escape from Melbourne, the Bellarine is the perfect excuse to turn a wedding day into a whole weekend away with your family and friends.
As a venue, Jack Rabbit gives you a lot of variety, from the deck with those huge bay views to the rows of vines and the big open paddocks. It creates such a great atmosphere, managing to feel both incredibly polished and completely relaxed, giving your guests a beautiful space where they can just settle in and enjoy the afternoon together.
The Couple & The Vision
Sophie and Andrew were such a fun, lighthearted couple but along with all of the laughs you could really see just how much these two care for each other. moved to Australia from the UK, so with so many guests flying halfway across the world, their priority was just being present with their people. The day started with a round of golf for the boys, which really set the tone for how much fun the day was going to be.
To keep them in the thick of the party, we made sure our photo sessions were quick and easy. We snuck away for a short time at sunset to catch the sunset light over the paddocks, it was the perfect way to get those striking shots without them feeling like they’d missed a moment of the celebration.
