The Venue
Scrub Hill near Daylesford is one of those spots that feels like a deep breath of fresh country air. It’s less than an hour and a half from Geelong and Melbourne,so it’s a dream for anyone wanting a wedding that feels like a relaxed garden party in the Victorian countryside.
Whether you’re getting married in the old bluestone chapel or under the trees in the elm forest, every corner of the property is absolutely gorgeous. It’s the perfect middle ground between rustic and elegant.
The Couple & The Vision
Some couples just have an effortless, magnetic energy, and Tahlia and Liam were exactly that. Their vision was minimal and incredibly elegant, which looked so good against the textures of the venue.
Because they really valued their portraits, I had the luxury of time to explore the grounds with them. We spent the afternoon wandering past the ivy covered walls and rows of rose bushes chasing the best light and capturing those editorial-style shots they were after.
